Specify

Purpose

The Specify command can only be used inside an Exec and its purpose is to assign to an Action an Output and its associated value.

Definition

In order to issue a Specify command you have two options, either right-click and select New > Specify or press Space and then S

You must then, select the Action and the Output from the two lists and provide its associated value below. Note that you can set the value to be an expression e.g. weight + 10|kg|

Execution

When a Specify command gets executed (as part of the execution of the commands of an Exec) it adds the Output together with its value to the Actions' specification. Below one can see how the specification for an Action evolves as the Specify commands get executed
